Why pronounceable passwords?

Pronounceable passwords solve a real problem: passwords you can't say are passwords you can't memorize. When you need to type a password on a device that doesn't have your password manager — a hotel computer, a friend's phone, a smart TV — a pronounceable password like Welam-Bosta-7! is much easier to recall than kX#9mQvR2!.

The syllables are generated using phonetic patterns (consonant-vowel-consonant) drawn from cryptographic randomness. While they read as pronounceable, they're not dictionary words — a dictionary attack won't find them. The hyphen separators are intentional: they make the structure visually scannable and many sites accept them.

For accounts where you truly never need to type the password manually, use a fully random strong password instead for maximum entropy.
